Arnaut Danjuma is ‘not opposed’ to a move to reunite with Unai Emery at Aston Villa if they make a move for him in January.
That’s according to Marca, who say the striker is ‘back on the market’ because of Emery’s move to Villa Park.
They explain that Villarreal ‘can do business’ for the Netherlands international and the player is open to a move as well.
In fact, in the summer he asked to leave to join a big side in the Champions League but that did not materialise and after a few weeks spoke to the club to make it clear he had changed his decision and wanted to stay.
The player is ‘keen to accept’ a transfer to the Premier League and has become a ‘more than attractive’ asset for several teams.
Aston Villa are one of those, with them expected to be busy next month reshaping the squad to better suit Emery’s needs.
The Spanish coach is ‘keeping an eye’ on his former player, who he was happy to snap up from Bournemouth and seemingly be open to signing once again.
Whether Aston Villa can get a deal over the line remains to be seen, of course, but the interest is there, Danjuma is keen on a move and Villarreal are open to a sale too.
