Nottingham Forest are one of the sides interested in Feyenoord’s Anis Hadj Moussa but will need to beat Monaco to his signature.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who report that the 23-year-old is ‘in Nottingham Forest’s sights’ ahead of the summer.
The newspaper explains that Monaco are preparing for the departure of Maghne Akliouche, with several sides in Europe, including Manchester United and Manchester City, eyeing up the 23-year-old.
Several avenues have already been explored for the summer and Moussa is one of them, but they will face competition for him.
That’s because he’s ‘also in Nottingham Forest’s sights’ while Lille had considered a move for him in the January transfer window.
That’s all L’Equipe have to say on the matter so it’s likely that Nottingham Forest’s interest is nothing more than a passing one at this moment in time.
Their summer transfer business will naturally be dependent on if they qualify for the Champions League and the extra money that will bring in for Nuno Espirito Santo.
Until then it’s hard to see them making any serious moves or finalising their plans, but Moussa is a name to keep a close eye on regardless.
