Mattéo Guendouzi has not featured for Arsenal since he was involved in an incident with Neal Maupay in his side’s defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, and his future is likely to be away from the Emirates.

Two days ago, Telefoot Chaine reported Marseille have contacted the Gunners over a move for the midfielder.

Friday’s edition of L’Equipe mentions sources in England are talking about Marseille retaining an interest in the 21-year-old.

However, the leaders of the Ligue 1 side have ‘vigorously denied’ the possibility of signing the former Lorient man.

It’s claimed the Frenchman is in ‘open conflict’ with Mikel Arteta and his entourage are ‘busy finding a way out’ for the player.

The north London club’s outcast has interest from several clubs in the Premier League, along with some clubs in Germany and Spain.

The newspaper, however, doesn’t provide any details of the clubs who have shown interest in Guendouzi.

With less than four days left in the current transfer window, Guendouzi and his camp will have to act fast.
