Earlier this month, L’Equipe reported Wolves’ Marshall Munetsi could leave after falling of favour under Rob Edwards.
There was no mention of the clubs who were looking at the 29-year-old, who wouldn’t be against the idea of moving to France in January.
The midfielder joined Wolves from Stade de Reims in February. He’s played 15 matches so far this season, just two of those since Edwards took charge.
A fresh report from L’Equipe claims OGC Nice are in the picture to sign Munetsi.
The report focuses on the players that the Ligue 1 side are looking at for the next window.
Nice manager Franck Haise is said to have already requested the club bring in a physical midfielder. The Wolves player is the only midfield target to get a mention.
L’Equipe reiterate the Zimbabwe international isn’t against the idea of returning to France. The newspaper reports Munetsi has several options in Ligue 1. This includes Nice, who can sign him in January to please their manager.
In short, Munetsi could be set for a rapid exit from Wolves in the next window. He has several options to pick from as long as the Premier League side gives the green light.
