Harry Kane has employed a five-man team, including a bodyguard and chef, to ease his transition to life at Bayern Munich and make his move from Tottenham a success.
That’s according to SportBILD, who cover the striker’s efforts behind the scenes today as he looks to ensure his time with the German champions is a successful one.
Kane joined the Bundesliga giants in a €100m move in the summer, bringing an end to his 19-year association with Tottenham, who he initially joined as a youth in 2004.
The transfer was one of the biggest of the summer and it seems Kane is doing everything in his power to ensure nothing goes wrong.
SportBILD explain that Kane has brought a ‘five-person team’ with him from England to help him concentrate 100% professionally on his tasks at Bayern.
That includes a ‘personal bodyguard’, who has already been picking up him from the stadium and accompanies him and his family ‘every step of the way’ in Munich, as well as specialists in fitness and physiotherapy and a private chef.
The latter is yet to be set up, though, as the Kane family haven’t found a house for him and his family to occupy as yet. That, though, is presumably high on the list.
Either way, there is a belief that the strategy is ‘paying off so far’ as he is the best goal scorer in the Bundesliga behind Serhou Guirassy with a tally of eight goals in seven games.
No player in Bayern’s history has more in their first seven Bundesliga games for the club, including Robert Lewandowski, who managed four. Kane also has the third most shots on goal and is averaging three per goal at the moment. His tally of four assists is also the best in the squad.
As well as his personal team behind the scenes, Kane is also working to learn German so he can communicate better and is building a relationship with Thomas Muller on and off the pitch too.
It’s all part of his plan to ensure the move to Germany from Tottenham is a successful one, and he makes the most of the big step he decided to take this summer.
