Following a free exit from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, Lucas Moura has already decided where to play next.
According to Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola, the attacker is moving to Saudi Arabia, where there are ongoing talks with two clubs.
It’s claimed that even though his initial desire was to stay in Europe, the offers he received weren’t from top leagues or from clubs who are fighting for titles.
That’s why the former Tottenham player has now engaged in talks with two Saudi clubs, who are offering him a lot more money than any other interested side.
According to Nicola, one of those sides belongs to the league’s top four, which includes Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Ittihad. The other one is a more ‘modest’ club.
Moura’s entourage are currently in talks with the two interested sides and there’s the expectation that the player chooses his new destination in the coming days.
After all the money he makes in Saudi Arabia, he expects to return to Brazil and play for São Paulo once again.
Signed by Tottenham on a €28.4m deal from Paris Saint Germain in January 2018, Lucas Moura left Spurs with 39 goals and 27 assists in 221 appearances.
