There’s a report in the Swedish media that AIK and Luton Town have reached an agreement over the transfer of midfielder Lamine Fanne.
Earlier today we cover reports which stated the youngster was flying over to England to undergo his medical before his proposed move to the Championship side.
Fotboll Direkt have reported on the latest development regarding Fanne’s transfer to Luton Town, and they say he will have his medical this evening.
The clubs are said to have reached an agreement over the transfer fee and personal terms have been finalised with the 20-year-old.
It’s hoped, pending the medical, that Fanne will be officially announced as a Luton Town player tomorrow lunchtime. An initial transfer fee of £3.3m has been accepted by the Swedish side, which could go up to £5m with add-ons.
As part of the deal the Spanish youngster will be sent back to AIK for the remainder of the Allsvenskan season as he continues his development. The Stockholm side are currently halfway through their campaign.
