Fulham have emerged as a candidate to sign Feyenoord’s Santiago Giménez in January, according to W Deportes.
The striker played a key role in helping Arne Slot’s side win the title last season and has extended his fine form into this season, by scoring 15 goals and registering three assists from 12 games.
His fine displays have seen various clubs take notice and Fulham are included in this list.
Marco Silva’s side are keen on securing the 22-year-old’s services in January as the report states he’s ‘received an offer’ to join them.
It’s said Fulham’s proposal is around €50m and the outlet doesn’t make it clear whether this is including or excluding bonuses.
W Deportes have made it clear this is their own information and also suggest it would be a surprise if the Mexico international were to join Fulham, who are ‘not entirely big’ in Europe.
They add the Feyenoord star is yet to make a decision on whether he wants to join the Premier League side or make a switch to a bigger club. If Giménez were to join Fulham, he’ll meet his compatriot Raúl Jiménez.
Feyenoord’s decision on the possibility of parting ways in January is not mentioned in the report.
