Ivan Perišić’s deal at Inter Milan runs until June 30th and he’s attracted interest from Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

Four days ago, Corriere della Sera explained the Blues are ‘in pole’ to sign the 33-year-old on a free transfer this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have overtaken Chelsea in the race if various reports coming out of Italy are to be believed.

TuttoMercatoWeb state the deal to take the Croatia international to Chelsea has ‘stalled’ due to their administrative issues.

Tottenham Hotspur chief Fabio Paratici has ‘tried to take advantage’ of Chelsea’s situation in order to give Antonio Conte his former player.

Perišić is now ‘close and closer’, and ‘one step away’ from the north London club. TMW explain that Spurs have made an offer of £4m per year plus £700,000 as potential bonus payments.

Over at InterLive.it, they state ‘Perišić’s towards the yes’ to Tottenham, after they made a two-year offer to him. The Serie A side have also made a proposal, but Spurs’ offer of €5m plus bonuses is ‘slightly higher’ than that of Inter.

The winger turned wing-back has ‘always dreamed of the Premier League’ and an option to join Conte’s side represents a ‘great technical and economic opportunity for him’.

Sky Italia also explain the ex-Wolfsburg man has ‘chosen Tottenham’ after they ‘put an important offer’ of €6m per year on the table. The Premier League side are waiting for a ‘definitive yes’ from Perišić in the ‘next few hours’.
