Emerson Palmieri’s potential departure from Chelsea is a rumour which has been around for a long time, with the Italian press insisting that Serie A sides could land the full-back sooner rather than later.
Now it seems like the player himself is taking steps towards a move, because according to the latest reports, he’s now chosen an official who could guarantee a transfer for him this summer.
Tutto Mercato Web writes that Palmieri now counts on Pini Zahavi to represent him, which is a decision that was taken by the Chelsea player along with his agent Fernando Malta.
The report says the fullback has given a ‘mandate’ for Zahavi to work on a Chelsea exit, and the super agent is now set to contacted all the clubs who’ve been interested in the 26-year-old.
Tutto Mercato Web says that list includes Inter Milan, Lazio and especially Napoli, who were already planning an effort ‘in the coming days’.
With Zahavi being one of the main agents in European football, it shouldn’t take long until he finds Palmieri a new club.
