Earlier today, we covered the news which said Celta Vigo had accepted West Bromwich Albion’s offer for midfielder Okay Yokusly.

Following a report that the Baggies were keen on a loan deal plus a €5m obligatory buying clause, RMC claimed the bid was accepted, and only the player needed to be convinced.

Now things seem to be advancing positively, because according to AS, Yokuslu is now ‘very close’ to making the move to the Premier League.

They say that the player’s representative, Batur Altiparmak, has now confirmed that the negotiations are going through ‘a good path’.

Even though AS writes that Yokuslu has given the ‘green light’ for the operation, it’s said he doesn’t like the clause in the deal.

They claim it’s more likely the move will only be made of a loan, with the player going back to Spain at the end of the season.

The outlet also points out that Galatasaray’s Mbaye Diagne is another target for the Baggies in the last days of the transfer window.
