It now seems that the transfer of Milos Kerkez from AZ Alkmaar to AFC Bournemouth is just hours from being done.
On Twitter, Voetbal International journalist Simon Zwartkruis reports that the player has ‘received permission’ from the Dutch side to fly to England and complete a move to the Cherries, showing a picture of him in front of a private jet.
It was the player’s father who first shared the picture, so his entourage is clearly not keeping the transfer to Bournemouth a big secret.
As Voetbal International also share a story on the subject, they point out that Benfica had led the race for his signing for a long time, but the Cherries managed to win the competition in the end.
The outlet writes that Kerkez’s move to Bournemouth is now ‘just a matter of time’.
It’s been only 18 months since AZ Alkmaar signed the fullback in a €1.18m deal from AC Milan’s academy. Following his 57 appearances for the Dutch side, he saw his market value on Transfermarkt rise to €15m.
For now, it’s still unclear how much Bournemouth are spending to sign him from the Eredivisie club.
En daar gaat ook Milos Kerkez: heeft van AZ toestemming gekregen naar Engeland te vliegen om zijn transfer naar Bournemouth af te ronden.
