Bernardo Silva’s walks down the Irwell towards restaurants are not enough to keep him content in the city, and his itchy feet are keen to walk through the exit door.
That’s according to L’Equipe, with the French newspaper hyping up PSG interest and a potential move in the summer.
It’s claimed Bernardo has become ‘tired’ of his life in Manchester away from football. This angle is strongly pushed by the French newspaper, and it should be remember the Manchester City player gave an interview to France Football last week, which is owned by the same group.
The player is a ‘very important objective’ for PSG and it sounds like there’s some confidence he’s keen on the club too. L’Equipe point out Bernardo spends some of his spare time in Paris, to further push the point home.
To be frank, it doesn’t feel like there’s a great deal of new information from L’Equipe. It’s already known Bernardo isn’t entirely comfortable in England, and it’s already known PSG have been keen.
Yet still it takes their front page. Maybe that was a condition of the France Football interview, with Bernardo ready to push for the exit this summer.
