Paraguayan forward Brian Montenegro, currently owned by Olimpia Asunçion, has been transferred more than 10 times since 2011.

The 26-year-old had short loan spells at West Ham United and Leeds United, but failed to show his worth in England.

TuttoMercatoWeb have come up with a report on the South American, in which they talk about interest from Norwich City and Brighton & Hove Albion.

It’s claimed the player has a lot of appeal for clubs in Europe, at least partly because he holds an EU passport.

The report states he’s ‘followed’ by Norwich and Brighton. In Serie A it’s Brescia and SPAL who are presented as being keen.

TMW doesn’t specify which of the four clubs are leading the race, and for now interest, especially from England, would appear to be at an initial stage.

Olimpia Asunçion won the domestic league in Paraguay and the attacker was their third highest scorer, with 10 goals and seven assists in 28 matches (includes only 12 starts).
