Last week, reports in France were quite confident that Manchester United were quickly looking to wrap up a move for Le Havre’s Enzo Kana-Biyik.
The 18-year-old’s performances have attracted the Red Devils’ attention, even though he is yet to play for the Le Havre first-team this season. There were suggestions that Ruben Amorim’s side were in advanced talks with his entourage.
Now, a positive update has emerged from France about Kana-Biyik’s situation and Manchester United are quite close to signing the talent.
Le Parisien’s Benjamin Quarez has reported that the striker will travel to Manchester today in order to go through the paperwork for his move to the Premier League club. It’s made clear that he’s set to sign a contract with the Red Devils.
Kana-Biyik has scored nine goals in all youth competitions this season and has been on the first team bench once.
This is the talent’s first season as a regular for Le Havre’s youth team and it remains to be seen if Manchester United have to pay a fee for the youngster or not.
