Four days ago, L’Equipe reported Wolverhampton Wanderers had dropped out of the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Noha Lemina, who has been on loan at Sampdoria.

The Premier League side have since stepped up their efforts to secure a deal for the 18-year-old. On Tuesday, Foot Mercato stated Wolves have reached an agreement with the Ligue 1 side, and a deal should be agreed quickly with the player.

Later that day, Loïc Tanzi reported Wolves won’t pay a loan fee but will cover Lemina’s full salary during his temporary stay. He added the buying option is set at €1m, and PSG will receive 25% of any profit from his future sale.

That €1m figure is even payable across two instalments.

RMC Sport also back up this claim about the agreement between the two clubs.

Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna now claims the 18-year-old has picked Wolves and is ‘flying to England’ to complete a loan move.

That’s obviously good news, and backs up earlier claims that Lemina would need to travel on Wednesday because the paperwork involved is expected to be complicated.
