Udinese striker Vivaldo Semedo is on his way to Watford to complete a move to the Championship side.
That’s according to journalist Sebastião Sousa-Pinto, who has a photo of the striker at the airport catching his flight to England to complete a move to Watford this summer.
He reports that Semedo is on his way to England to sign for the Hornets in another of the well established Pozzo family specials.
The striker has been with Udinese since 2022 when he joined their U19’s in a €3m deal but has spent the last few years out on loan at FC Volendam and then Vizela. He managed nine goals and four assists in Portugal last season and one goal in 13 games for the Dutch side while he was with them.
Now he’s on his way to England to join Watford, although Sousa-Pinto doesn’t make clear if it will be a loan deal or a permanent move. All he confirms is that the clock is ticking towards a deal being finalised and it is ‘confirmed’. The fact he is catching a flight to England also attests to that.
He will join a Watford squad to strengthen a forward line that currently has Mileta Rajovic, Jorge Hurtado and Mamadou Doumbia as their striker options.
