There’s more on Alexander Sorloth.
Tuesday’s edition of Ekstra Bladet reported Crystal Palace would have to pay 112m Danish Krone to convince FC Midtjylland to sell their Norwegian international striker.
That works out to be €13.2m and there was no explanation of how that would have to be made up. That’s crucial because Crystal Palace’s previous offer had been worth a total of €10m, but FC Midtjylland weren’t happy €5m of it was made up of bonuses.
Now Norway’s Adressa report 22 year old Sorloth has left FC Midtjylland’s training camp in Dubai to fly to London, ahead of a supposed transfer to Crystal Palace.
They claim Crystal Palace have made a new offer of 100m Norwegian Krone and it’s been accepted. But 100m NOK works out to be €9.17m, which is less than the headline figure of the previous offer and much less than Ekstra Bladet say FC Midtjylland want.
We’re confused too.
Going back to Denmark, Ekstra Bladet covers the Norwegian claims and they seem to believe Sorloth could be travelling just in case Crystal Palace can agree a deal.
They, like us, are confused byu the whole thing and have sent a journalist to FC Midtjylland’s camp.
