It’s been a couple of days since the Spanish media started being sure that Arsenal and Real Madrid are sorting out the transfer of Martin Odegaard on a permanent deal.
Still, big outlets such as AS and Marca didn’t seem to have any information on how much the Gunners are paying for the midfielder this time.
Now a story from Cope comes up with a few new details, claiming that the transfer will cost €30m for the London side.
It’s said the Norway international ‘will be an Arsenal player’ and his move will happen ‘in the coming hours’.
Other reports had already been claiming that Odegaard hasn’t even been training with Real Madrid’s squad for the past couple of days, as the clubs were afraid that any potential injury could harm the chances of a deal.
On loan at Arsenal for the second part of last season, the midfielder had 20 appearances, scoring two goals and contributing two assists. Now with Mikel Arteta’s approval, it seems he’s back for more.
