PSV Eindhoven forward Noni Madueke is ‘quickly travelling’ to London for his medical with Chelsea after they struck a deal with the Dutch side.
That’s according to journalist Rik Elfrink, who says PSV will sell a player with ‘enormous potential’ that he is yet to live up to.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for Madueke over the last week or so as they continue to spend big sums improving Graham Potter’s squad this month.
They had initially seen a €30m bid rejected by the Eredivisie side but have continued negotiations and have now reached a breakthrough, with Elfrink reporting earlier today that they had put a ‘very big bag of money’ on the table to convince PSV.
That has worked and the player is now close to making the move to Stamford Bridge, with Elfrink reporting that he is ‘quickly travelling’ to London for a medical at his new club.
It seems Chelsea already have him booked in for the requisite tests and are determined to get a deal over the line as quickly as possible to make him the latest addition in an increasingly busy month.
Madueke reist snel naar Londen voor een medische keuring bij #Chelsea. PSV gaat een speler met enorm potentieel verkopen. Maar ook een speler die dat door veel pech nog niet kon inlossen.
