We now have proof that Leicester City are about to sign Stefano Sensi from Inter Milan, because the player has been spotted at an airport.
The photograph and latest update on the Foxes signing’s situation comes from Calciomercato.it journalist Giorgio Musso, who took to X, formerly Twitter, to provide it.
He explains that Sensi is ‘on his way’ to Leicester, and will leave Inter on a permanent transfer for a ‘bit less’ than €3m between fixed part up front and future bonuses.
The 28-year-old midfielder appears to have been spotted by some fans in the queue to security at the airport, who couldn’t resist the chance of asking him for a selfie.
This should be the final update on the situation, with the player likely heading for some medicals in England before signing his contract with Leicester, where he will finally get to work under Enzo Maresca, who had been a big advocate of the transfer.
They even sent back Cesare Casadei back to Chelsea to get it done, showing just how much they believed in the player.
