It looks like Swansea City are having a bit of a hard time in their attempts to sign OH Leuven striker Thomas Henry this summer.

According to the latest reports, the 26-year-old is being ‘blocked’ from leaving the Belgium side, as the club are currently turning down all the offers they get for  him.

It’s journalist Sacha Tavolieri who brings the information, recalling that Swansea City had offered €6m, including bonuses, for the transfer rejected.

It’s claimed this is a ‘complicated situation’ for the striker, since OH Leuven officials have been saying one thing and doing the opposite.

Swansea City are said not to be alone in the race, since clubs from Italy and Turkey are interested in the signing as well.

Meanwhile, Thomas Henry is said to be hopeful that there’ll be a ‘positive outcome’ of this situation.

The striker, who had 21 goals and seven assists for OH Leuven last season, has a contract with them running until 2023.
