Erick Pulgar to Leeds United very much continues to be part of the current round of rumours, with claims now coming from both Italy and Chile.
Earlier this month it was claimed Marcelo Bielsa’s side had made a £10m offer for the midfielder, an amount which wasn’t considered enough by Fiorentina.
On September 18th, Tuscany newspaper La Nazione reported talks between Fiorentina and the Premier League club were ‘intensifying’, and it was suggested Leeds could put €15m forward for the signing.
Thursday evening saw Chilean journalist Maks Cardenas report Pulgar isn’t training with La Viola and wouldn’t be called up for the club’s match against Inter Milan at the weekend. He then went on to say that was due to the player’s recent positive Covid-19 test.
Elsewhere, they’re not so sure that’s the sole reason. Firenze Viola suggest it could be down to negotiations with Leeds United for the player’s transfer. Fiorentina.it hint along the same lines.
Over in Chile, Al Aire Libre report, according to their own information, that Leeds are considering raising their offer from €11m, something which fits in nicely with the Italian claims.
