On Sunday, Luca Bianchin reported AC Milan’s Noah Okafor has agreed to join Leeds United and the move is accelerating.

The journalist claimed that the Whites are working on a permanent move to sign the Swiss forward.

Sportmediaset have some updates and report that talks are currently underway between Leeds United and Milan.

Okafor is ‘closer to joining’ the Elland Road club and there’s confidence around a move, having agreed to sign a four-year deal with the option for a fifth year.

The Rossoneri are looking to earn €20m from the player’s sale, but Leeds United are pushing to sign the 25-year-old for €17m.

The outlet expect the two clubs to hold talks today and there is enough reason to be optimistic about the deal, as the gap between the two parties is low.

Okafor has been on the periphery of the project at Milan since last season, and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Napoli.

The move proved to be disappointing, as the versatile forward played only four Serie A games, as Antonio Conte’s side won the title.
