On Wednesday, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio stated Juventus’ Dean Huijsen is evaluating an offer from AFC Bournemouth.
The defender joined AS Roma on loan in January, when Bournemouth director Tiago Pinto was in charge at the Serie A side.
Pinto seems to be leading the Premier League side’ pursuit of the 19-year-old this summer.
TuttoMercatoWeb state the Cherries have made advances to sign the defender in the ‘last few hours’.
It’s claimed Andoni Iraola’s side have made an official offer of €18m excluding bonuses, plus a percentage on a future sale. This has pleased the Turin club, who have ‘already accepted’ the proposal.
The centre-back now has to decide whether to join Bournemouth or wait to see if other clubs would come forward to sign him.
Over at De Telegraaf, they state the Dutch-born Spain U21 international is aware that he can’t get regular game time at Juve, which is why he’s been looking for a new club.
In order to improve his chances of featuring regularly, the newspaper says ‘he chooses Bournemouth’.
Their title says Huijsen leaves Juventus for a ‘Premier League adventure at Bournemouth’. Within the report, it’s claimed he will sign a ‘long-term contract’ with the English club, and the Old Lady will collect €20m [likely including bonuses] from his sale.
