Ever since Roony Bardghji broke onto the football scene at FC Copenhagen, Chelsea have been linked with a transfer.

The player has stayed in Denmark until his 18th birthday, but the general belief is the winger will leave his club in the next summer transfer window.

He won’t be joining just anyone, though, as he has ‘high standards’ for his new club, as he revealed to the Danish TV2, relayed by Fotboll Direkt.

He said: “I want to play in big clubs and in the Champions League again next year.”

That, as Fotboll Direkt point out, ‘basically rules out’ a move to Chelsea, who have struggled all season under Mauricio Pochettino and find themselves far removed from the top four in the Premier League at this point in the campaign.

Bardghji really made an impression in the European competition this season, most notably scoring the winning goal in a thriller against Manchester United.

Chelsea, down their end, currently sit 11th in the table, most recently losing to Wolves 4-2 in the Premier League, but finding some joy on Wednesday night as they knocked out Aston Villa from the FA Cup, producing a good display in a 3-1 win away from home.
