Burnley are one of four sides showing interest in Montpellier winger Arnaud Nordin as they plan for life back in the Premier League.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who say the 24-year-old is not certain to stay at the French side this summer.
He is ‘attracting interest’ after a season in which he managed to score nine goals and assist five in the league, numbers which have earned him admirers.
The nature of those concrete steps isn’t made clear, nor is how much Montpellier would like for the player, just that Burnley have already made their move.
Nordin is currently tied to a deal until 2025 so Montpellier have no desperate need to sell and can demand whatever they want for the player, who was very much a key player this season.
It will be up to Burnley to work out a deal then, as they plan for life back in the top flight under Vincent Kompany.
