Tottenham Hotspur can offer Club Brugge’s Antonio Nusa an opportunity to make a switch to the Premier League, after he turned down an approach from England last summer.
The north London club have entered the scene and are keen on securing a deal for the 18-year-old.
That’s according to Het Laatste Nieuws, and their title says Tottenham ‘want to pay more than €30m’ to sign the winger.
Within the report, it’s claimed that the Jupiler Pro League side are currently in advanced negotiations with Spurs for Nusa’s transfer.
They add that if everything goes as per the plan, Ange Postecoglou’s side will pay a fee around €30m to acquire the Norway international’s services. The price could increase further if bonuses are included as part of the operation.
This deal is expected to go through, barring any last-minute surprises. HLN add Spurs will allow the youngster to return to the Belgian club on loan until the end of this season.
Nusa was the subject of a Chelsea offer last summer and still maintained hope of moving to England. He had recently stated the Premier League is the “best and the most beautiful” competition in the world.
HLN explain that Nusa is close to fulfilling his dream of making it to the Premier League. The deal isn’t completed yet, but the player ‘appears to be on his way’ to Tottenham and Club Brugge are ‘close to a new jackpot’ with his sale.
