Real Betis defender Chadi Riad has already agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace ahead of joining them this summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who say personal terms with Crystal Palace were struck on Wednesday and now all that is required is the two clubs agreeing terms.

Riad has been linked with Crystal Palace this week, with the Eagles seemingly pushing to get a deal done for the young defender as quickly as possible.

A report earlier today indicated that those talks were progressing well, and an agreement was likely to be struck at some point, probably for around €16m.

It seems while those negotiations are underway, though, Crystal Palace have ben productive and sorted out personal terms with Riad. Mundo report that he reached an agreement with Palace on Wednesday and will sign his contract as soon as negotiations between the two clubs are concluded.

According to their information, those talks are still underway, and the deal is likely to be for a transfer worth to be for a transfer worth €12-14m.

There’s no mention of what terms Riad has agreed to, just that Crystal Palace have at least cleared that potential hurdle which means the move for Riad could be concluded quickly once that agreement with Betis is struck.
