Bournemouth’s Lys Mousset has been linked with a move away from the Premier League club, after finding it really difficult to get regular playing time.
Arriving in the summer in a €7.5m deal from Le Havre, Mousset has featured for just 23 minutes in the Premier League this season. The 20-year-old is reportedly wanted by Ligue 1 sides Bastia, Metz and Montpellier, whilst Bournemouth don’t mind him leaving on loan either.
According to a latest update from L’Equipe, Mousset is in advanced talks to sign for Montpellier and a deal could be concluded quickly. L’Equipe say Saint Etienne, Rennes and Bastia have also shown interest in the Frenchman and it seems he has a few options on his table.
Mousset was highly rated in France, before his move to Premier League, and it isn’t surprising to see interest from several Ligue 1 clubs.
The player is also reportedly not happy with his situation at Bournemouth, and a loan deal could favour all parties.
