Earlier this month, El Intransigente stated River Plate have set their sights on Nottingham Forest’s Nicolás Domínguez.
They also reported he could leave in the winter market and River Plate president Stefano Di Carlo is willing to make an effort to buy him.
Soy del Millo backs up interest in the Nottingham Forest player and shares the plan to sign him.
River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo has the midfielder on his agenda and is said to be leading his side’s pursuit.
The Argentina international has a contract until 2028, and Transfermarkt currently values him at around €18m.
Gallardo is keen and wants to add the 27-year-old to his squad in January. The South American club are unlikely to come close to his current valuation.
Although earlier claims stated Di Carlo is willing to buy him, Soy del Millo report River Plate are looking at a loan deal. They add Gallardo ‘wants to tempt’ Domínguez to join his side on a temporary move.
Enzo Pérez, 39, is set to leave River Plate, and Gallardo wants the Nottingham Forest man to replace him. River Plate just want it on their terms, though.
There’s no mention whether Domínguez or Sean Dyche’s side are open to his loan move to River Plate.
