The summer saga lived by Romelu Lukaku continues to get big coverage from the Italian media.
Today, it’s TuttoMercatoWeb who feature a new story to explain why the Chelsea forward was dropped by his former representatives at Roc Nation Sports.
The outlet claims the decision has everything to do with what happened in the summer, when Lukaku did not take the agency’s favourite options.
The first was obviously the transfer to Inter Milan, with whom Chelsea had an agreement for a transfer, and the player couldn’t agree personal terms.
Roc Nation reportedly acted for a loan with an option to buy, and Lukaku ‘only listened’ to the advice from his lawyer Sebastien Ledure.
TuttoMercatoWeb says there was then a ‘pharaonic proposal’ from Saudi Arabia, also brought by Roc Nation, and that was rejected by the striker, who decided to join AS Roma.
The story claims those were ‘too many blows’ to the agency, who decided to leave the Chelsea player and focus on their other stars.
Since the loan to Roma, Lukaku has three goals and is living up to expectations at the club for now.
