The negotiations between Roma and Manchester City for Pablo Zabaleta keep evolving, but are still far from finished. Corriere dello Sport have an article on Thursday saying there are a few details left for the deal to be complete.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Zabaleta is spending his vacations in Spain, and he waits for the transfer to be sealed so he can fly to Italy and join the squad for pre-season training.
The personal terms are reportedly agreed. The right-back would make around €2.5m net per season plus bonuses on a three-year contract. Agent fees are all settled as well.
What is left now is the agreement between Roma and City. The English club are asking for €4m for the transfer, and the Italians would be only raising their first bid to €3m.
It’s not a difficult deal to agree on, but the sides won’t give up so soon. A new meeting is expected to happen by the start of next week.
