Isco’s failure to feature regularly for Real Madrid this season has seen him being linked with a move away from the La Liga giants in January.

Multiple reports coming out of Spain talked about Arsenal and Manchester City being potential suitors for the 27-year-old over the last month or so.

At the end of October, Mundo Deportivo explained Los Blancos will have no problem in sanctioning the Spain international’s sale in the winter market, if interested clubs can meet their €70m asking price.

Saturday’s edition of AS has a short update on the former Malaga man and how his valuation has dropped from €80m to €60m (as per Transfermarkt).

Pep Guardiola has long been an admirer of his compatriot and the report states the Premier League winners’ manager is ‘still waiting’ for Isco to join his project at the Etihad.

However, City will face a tough task in signing the former Malaga man because AS states Real Madrid have no plans to sell the player.

These claims are contradicting to what Mundo reported a fortnight ago.
