Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has toldĀ his player Jason Denayer that a loan spell at Galatasaray will not do any good for him, as the Spaniard wants Denayer to play Spain or Portugal to progress as a footballer even further.
After hearing this, Denayer apparently told Guardiola that he’d take the advice onboard but he prefers to play for Galatasaray if he’s not going to remain at Manchester City.
As we covered before, Galatasaray CEO Levent Nazifoglu said they have lots of defensive options at their disposal and adding Denayer to that list doesn’t makeĀ any sense, especially on loan, but Galatasaray manager Jan-Olde Riekerink is pushing hard for 21-year old Belgian defender.
