Shocking the football world, who largely thought Manchester United and Jose Mourinho would continue to slowly kill each other until at least the new year, it was announced on Tuesday that the two have parted ways.
There’s no clear indication of who’s leaving who, and it’s unlikely Mourinho is set to walk away without a hefty payout, as per the terms of the new contract he signed earlier this year.
It will represent a big change at Manchester United, and several players are likely to be thrilled.
Paul Pogba is one of them and it doesn’t seem like he wants to hide it. The midfielder has been sidelined by Mourinho recently and the pair have been in an ongoing cold war.
Not long after the manager’s exit was announced by the premier League club, Pogba took to social media.
