Thursday morning has seen claims of Mauricio Pochettino returning to Tottenham escalate.
The PSG manager didn’t have a good end to the season with the French club, seeing Lille snatch the Ligue 1 title. For the Parisians that represented something of a disaster, and doubts have been raised in some quarters about the Argentine’s impact on the team.
It hasn’t helped Pochettino that Thomas Tuchel has done so well since taking over at Chelsea, and finds himself in his second Champions League final in just two years.
Claims from both England and France have been swirling about the PSG boss having talks with Daniel Levy, and being tempted by a return to managing Tottenham.

This is obviously causing a lot of chatter in Paris, yet Bruno Salomon, a journalist who works for radio station France Bleu Paris, has stated there’s nothing in the claims.
Taking to Twitter, Salomon said he’s been ‘clearly told’ the whole thing is false, and seemingly thinks that’s where it should be left.
The coming hours should prove whether he’s been informed correctly or not.
