Over the weekend, Tottenham Hotspur confirmed Fabio Paratici has been appointed as their new managing director of football.

The Italian has already got to work and identified Inter Milan’s Stefan de Vrij and Marcelo Brozović as targets for this summer.

According to Inter Live, the former Juventus director is planning a ‘double assault’ to sign the centre-back and midfielder.

Paratici worked with Giuseppe Marotta at the Turin club, and the new Spurs chief wants to reconnect with his former colleague to ‘try a double mugging at Inter’ for their Nerazzurri duo.

As per the report, Paratici would be ‘willing to put only €47m on the table’ to sign the two Inter players

A figure of €22m would be offered to sign the Netherlands international, who arrived at the San Siro on a free transfer in 2018.

The remaining €25m would be for the Croatian midfielder. Brozović has 12 months left on his contract and he’s waiting to know what the future holds for him.

Inter Live, however, doesn’t mention the Serie A winners’ stance on allowing either or both the players to leave the club this summer.
