Bursa based newspaper Olay report Bursaspor have agreed on personal terms with Newcastle United midfielder Henri Saivet and the player is expected to arrive in Bursa later this week.
It’s reported Bursaspor have an agreement with Saivet over his salary, and the 27 year old will reportedly earn €800K during his season-long loan spell in Turkey.
Olay say Bursaspor are currently waiting for the paperwork from Newcastle United and then his transfer will then be sealed.
Saivet spent the second half of last season on loan at Sivasspor where he worked with Samet Aybaba. The Turkish coach is now the manager of Bursaspor, and he’s said to be keen to work with his former player.
Aybaba is reportedly behind the Turkish club’s pursuit of Saivet and the Newcastle United player has been linked with Bursaspor throughout this transfer window.
Saivet is under contract at Newcastle until 2021, but he seems surplus to requirements under Rafa Benitez.
