The agent for Racing Club midfielder Carlos Alcaraz has confirmed the midfielder can be signed for around €15m, amid interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Alcaraz was linked with a move to Molineux earlier this month when it was made clear that the player was being targeted by Wolves and Tottenham.
That was followed by claims that Wolves could get the youngster with a suitable offer, and it was then explained that they had been following the player for a while and even ‘asked for information’ about him.
The indications were clear that Wolves were eyeing up a potential move for the 19-year-old, whose performances in Argentina had very much been picked up on by several clubs in Europe.
Whether he ends up moving in the January transfer window remains to be seen but the interest is certainly there.
Now his agent has commented on the matter and indicated that his client could have a choice of clubs should he elect to make a move.
“We have an option from England and another from Portugal, but neither the directors of Inter nor those of AC Milan have contacted me in these hours,” FC Inter News report him saying to Tuttosport.
“We are waiting. The clubs we have spoken to are very important. Clearly Inter and AC Milan are very, very important. And obviously both options are more than welcome.
“Inter and Milan are two top clubs. The Nerazzurri, perhaps also because of what Diego Milito was and what Lautaro Martinez is now, are particularly interested in Carlos. Nobody then disputes the importance of Milan.
“(He costs) around 15 million euros. Although the figure could be lowered by inserting a clause allowing Racing a percentage on future resale.”
