Fabio Silva’s Wolves career could again be set to see him play somewhere else.

The striker had a loan spell at Rangers in the second half of last season that didn’t yield much for him. Genoa are now an interested party and keen on signing the Portuguese attacker.

TMW have reported today that with Genoa nearing the sale of Albert Gudmundsson, they want a replacement in quickly, and that replacement could be Silva.

The move, in fact, ‘could be closed today’ and it can be wrapped up very quickly, with confidence that a transfer can be concluded quickly.

In the meantime, La Gazzetta dello Sport have stated that Genoa have already contacted Wolves and put forward an offer for an initial loan deal with the option to buy.

Fiorentina have already made an offer for Gudmundsson, who is destined to depart. TMW also state that the Rossoblu seem quite sure that the 22-year-old Wolves man is their ideal profile to replace the Iceland star, which is quite some ask.
