Earlier on Monday, Gianluca Di Marzio reported Saša Lukić’s move from Torino to Fulham has been put on stand-by.
Despite this, it was explained the two clubs continue to negotiate for the midfielder’s sale in the last two days of the winter market.
There has been a new development in this case if multiple reports coming out of Italy are to be believed.
A latest report from Gianluca Di Marzio states the Serbia international is ‘one step away’ from Fulham. The two clubs are now finalising the details of a deal that will see the 26-year-old make a switch to London. The operation will be closed for €10m.
Lukić, who had decided against extending his contract at Torino beyond 2024, is convinced of joining Marco Silva’s side. Di Marzio took to Twitter to add that the player is set to join the Premier League side and has ‘accepted the proposal’ made by them.
Over at TuttoMercatoWeb, they explain there is a ‘white smoke’ between the Serie A side and Fulham for the Serbian’s sale for €10m plus €3m bonuses.
Lukić has a contract worth €2.2m net per year until 2027 ready at Fulham.
