Over the past few hours several stories have surfaced in England about Liverpool interest in Riza Durmisi. Despite it being packaged as fresh claims, it’s not too hard to locate the original in Spain.
A couple of days ago local Andalusia media outlet Vip Diairo published an article detailing Liverpool interest in the player. It was explained that Alberto Moreno is probably leaving Liverpool in the summer transfer window, so Jurgen Klopp would already be working on locating someone to come in.
Durmisi is a left back with a Real Betis contract running until June 2021, his buyout clause is €20m.
Vip Diario say Liverpool have sent scouts to compile reports on Durmisi on ‘several occasions’ and he’s one of their options for the position, with consideration to making an attempt in the future to sign the player.
Durmisi is a a Denmark international and moved to Betis from Brondby in May 2016
