Manchester United’s Antony is set to join Real Betis on a loan deal until the end of this season.
The winger’s agents, Junior Pedroso and Emerson Santos, were in Seville on Tuesday to meet the La Liga side’s officials.
On Wednesday, we covered claims from Spain that Antony is expected to arrive in Seville on Friday to complete his move to Real Betis. It was also stated Manchester United are waiting to sort out an economic issue with his agent before giving their green light.
The Red Devils host Rangers in the Europa League this evening and the Brazilian is in contention. According to Onda Cero, the clash against Philippe Clement’s side will be the 24-year-old’s last one with Manchester United.
Manchester United are seventh in the Europa League table, a point ahead of eighth placed Rangers. Ruben Amorim wants to have the attacker at his disposal in order to improve his side’s chances of making it to the last 16.
Antony will travel to Seville tomorrow to join Real Betis and is living his ‘last few hours’ with Manchester United.
He struggled for regular minutes at Old Trafford and will hope things are much better with Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
