Wolverhampton Wanderers have been named as a suitor for Kang-in Lee for months now, even before Nuno Espírito Santo left the English club in May.

Bruno Lage was appointed as Nuno’s successor at Molineux and the ex-Benfica manager’s arrival hasn’t changed Wolves’ plan to sign the Valencia man.

That’s according to today’s edition of AS, who state the Premier League side are ‘still on the prowl’ and in fact they have been interested in the 20-year-old since April.

Apart from Wolves, Granada get a mention as their manager, Roberto Moreno, has been impressed by the attacking midfielder.

Lee has entered his final year of contract and Los Ches are clear they want to sell him in the ongoing window.

Valencia were hoping to close the South Korea international’s sale this week, although the player, who is currently in his own country, doesn’t rule out staying at Mestalla for one more season. Lee holds the key for the Spanish club to sign Real Valladolid’s Marcos André.

The Brazilian cannot arrive at Valencia because he will be a non-EU player and one of the slots can be made available to André, if Lee is sold in this window.

Valencia have several reasons to get rid of Lee this summer and they would be delighted if Wolves [or any other club] come forward to seal his signing.
