According to claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce will make an offer for Sheffield United midfielder Vinicius Souza once they’ve finalised Ferdi Kadıoğlu’s move to Brighton.
Earlier today we covered reports from the Turkish press that Fenerbahce were in transfer talks with the Championship side for the Brazilian.
Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports the Istanbul side will make an attempt to sign the Sheffield United player as Brighton & Hove Albion close in on Kadıoğlu.
This afternoon it’s been reported Fenerbahce have accepted Brighton’s €35.2m offer for the left back and this will now allow Jose Mourinho to bring in Souza once the transfer has been made official.
The Turkish journalist says Mourinho has given the nod for the Fenerbahce hierarchy to bring in the Sheffield United man as he looks to bolster his midfield this summer.
Fener have missed out on a number of midfielders in this transfer window after being linked with a host of players from England.
However, it seem like a deal could be done for Souza, especially now there could be a huge injection of revenue coming in from Kadıoğlu moving to Brighton.
Indeed, the Turkish media believe Fener will look to buy several players with the income.
