According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce have made an offer to Huddersfield Town for their Danish centre back Zanka.

Earlier in this transfer window we covered claims from Turkey that Fenerbahce are interested in signing the 29 year old, who is expected to leave the Terriers following their relegation from the Premier League.

Takvim claim the Super Lig side have tabled a bid of €3.5m to sign the Huddersfield Town player. It’s also reported the Yellow Canaries have offered Zanka a €2.5m yearly wage, and he’s keen to continue his career in Turkey.

Additionally, it’s stated Huddersfield Town could accept the offer as they believe it’s a good deal for them due to the Denmark international’s contract situation.

City rivals Basaksehir are also said to be interested in signing Zanka, but Takvim claim Fenerbahce are currently in the driving seat.

The former FC Copenhagen defender joined Huddersfield at the start of the 2017/18 season for €2.7m and is under contract with the West Yorkshire club until June 2020.
