Asist Analiz report Fenerbahce coach Volkan Demirel has been impressed with Huddersfield Town’s Florent Hadergjonaj.

Last week we covered reports from Turkey that Fenerbahce watched the Kosovan right back in action against Montenegro, and Asist Analiz claim Demirel has now given the green light to sign the player.

It’s reported Fenerbahce could make an offer for Hadergjonaj in the January transfer window, and his international teammate Vedat Muriqi, who’s in great form for Fenerbahce, is also giving him information about life at the club.

Fener’s current right-backs Mauricio Isla and Nabil Dirar could leave at the end of the season with both players in the final year of their contracts, so the Turkish club are in the market to replace them, and the Huddersfield Town defender looks to be a firm option.

The 25 year old has made eight appearances for Huddersfield Town in the Championship this season, providing one assist.

He’s under contract with the West Yorkshire club until June 2021, although the Terriers have the option to extend the deal for one more season.
