On Wednesday, we relayed news from Italy that negotiations are underway between Bologna and Nottingham Forest for Remo Freuler. It was also stated the Tricky Trees have tried to insert Nicolás Domínguez as part of the deal.
Forest’s ‘pressing is persistent’ to sign the 25-year-old Argentine this summer.
That’s according to TuttoBolognaWeb, who add that Domínguez would ‘not be closing the door’ to joining Nottingham Forest.
The South American has a year left on his deal and the report says the Serie A side want €15m to sanction his sale. They also state it’s necessary to understand whether Freuler could be included in the operation.
TuttoBolognaWeb say the Premier League side seem convinced to reach an agreement in a short time, probably for Domínguez. It needs to be seen whether the two operations will be linked.
Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori, who signed the Swiss player for Atalanta, would gladly bring the 31-year-old to the club.
Meanwhile, Gianluca Di Marzio states the Italian club have made the ‘first official offer’ to sign Freuler on a loan deal with the right to buy. He doesn’t mention the possibility of Domínguez moving to Nottingham Forest.
