Now that Brazilian clubs are effectively working on the signing of Gustavo Scarpa from Nottingham Forest, we’re getting to see things moving for his transfer back to his home country.
Recent reports have been saying that it’s Atlético Mineiro who lead the race for him, and Globo Esporte feature a good update on this situation now.
Unlike other reports, Globo Esporte claims that Atlético Mineiro are still to place an official bid for Scarpa, and they’re actually waiting for Nottingham Forest to set a price.
A source told the outlet that the situation “could be sorted in 24 hours or 15 days”, as that should depend on how much the Reds will request for the move.
Scarpa only has 422 minutes for Olympiacos this season, and it seems the Greek side will have no problem sending him back to Nottingham Forest so the Tricky Trees complete his permanent departure. It seems that won’t take long now.
